PURPOSE

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
HRTC is the keeper of creative products about trails. This includes the YouTube videos about trail people and trail events. The copyrights also include charts which explain policies and backgrounds about trails, specifically, “The Devolution of Trail Corridors,” and, “The Three Step Purposes of Railbanking.”
LIBRARY
We appreciate donations of information about the forming of and operations of trails and trail groups in Indiana. We hope someday to have a public repository (display) of library material and artifacts explaining how trails and rail trails have developed in Indiana from 1987 (and before) to the present time. Currently our library and collections are not open to the public. In the interim, please visit IndianaTrails.com and / or the Indiana Trails YouTube channel to view interviews and trail events during the past several years.
FUNDRAISING
Hoosier Rail to Trails Council is not a 501(c)3 not for profit entity and therefore not tax deductible. Fundraising goes to lobbying and legislative types of activities.
